calendar of meetings 2009

The first SASH meeting in 2009 was on TUESDAY 13TH JANUARY at 2.30pm at ST RICHARDS COMMUNITY CENTRE, EGMONT ROAD, HOVE.
We talked about our festive season and any New Year resolutions, our ideas for meetings to have, speakers to invite, days out, and ways to raise money.
These are the dates for SASH meetings this year 2009:

October 13th
November 10th
December 8th - Christmas celebration?

lobbying the minister

One of our members, Claudia, met Minister Alan Johnson recently and spoke to him about her stroke: she e-mailed me the following message: " I told him I had already have written to the Director Sussex Medical University to set up a course for Speech Therapy in Brighton. I got the response - he will talk to the Vice Chancellor and the Sussex Hospital Director - The meeting was arranged by Nancy Platts, (next MP-in-waiting, Pavilion)"
